Christingle Service...will take place on Sunday 29^th January at 4.00pm in St. Bart’s.

Penn, Wolverhampton – Penn Ecumenical Council will hold its first Christmas Tree Festival at Penn United Reformed Church from December 16-18, 2011, to raise funds to support our nominated charities, WaterAid (www.wateraid.org) and St Anthony's Leonard Cheshire Disability Care Home, Penn (www.lcdisability.org).

Arrangements are already being made for the Festival, but as always, an army of volunteers is needed to raise the funds for the chosen charities. Perhaps small groups could get together and collectively raise more money, rather than relying on individual contributions. The Scouts, Penn Wives, Guides, Boys’ Brigade, and the New Generation of Mothers’ Union are being recruited and will probably raise considerable cash.

Monthly Knit and Natter Group
We meet on a Friday afternoon 1.00 - 3.00pm in the Oak Room. Cost £1 for refreshments. All ages and abilities welcome.
The dates up until Christmas are: 4th Nov and 9th Dec.

Barts Busy Bees is a community playgroup based in St.Bartholomew’s Community Hall (opposite the Church).
For: Children aged from two to five years.
When: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
How: Leave your child with our qualified, experienced and caring staff.
Short session 9.00am – 11.30am £7.00 Long session 8.30am – 12.15pm £9.50
We admit children from their 2nd birthday, up until August 31st following their 5th birthday. We don’t mind if they’re still in nappies, we will do all we can to help you to toilet train them when you want us to.
