ALPHA COURSE
Thursdays at 8.00pm in the Oak Room. The course will also be online hosted by a zoom call. If you would like to be Confirmed or just wish to learn more about the Christian Faith, please join us with this year’s Alpha Course.

The course is totally free of charge and ‘easy come, easy go’. If, after a couple of weeks you are not enjoying it feel free to drop out and that is fine.

Shoe Box AppealSt. Bart’s is supporting ‘Operation Christmas Child’ again this year – sending gifts abroad to children who would otherwise receive nothing for Christmas. If you wish to create a ‘shoe box’, please bring it to the Parish Office byMonday 21st November.
The Friends of St Bart's and St Anne's would like to thank everyone who came to the quiz on Saturday 8th October. We had a lovely evening of quizzing and fish and chips and good company. Thank you especially to our 3 quizmasters - Pauline, Julian and Robert. Thank you also to everyone who helped on the day. We made a profit of just over £100 which is great. All funds raised by the Friends go to maintaining our beautiful buildings and supporting our choir. Please continue to support us.

ADVENT ART, DECEMBER 10TH 11.30AM – 5.00PM IN THE OAK ROOM A day a biblically inspired art (no talent required!) involving demonstrations, lunch, resources and a passage of scripture. If you are considering St Peter’s Collegiate School for your child for admission in September 2023 you will need to:-
1 Complete a Supporting Evidence Form
2 Personal Statement, pattern of worship/length of time attached to St Bart’s etc.
3 A telephone number to contact you
Without all of this information we can’t complete and sign the form.

CHRITSMAS FAYRE -WE NEED A SANTA !! Santa has his grotto and all the elves are ready, we have everything good to go....... the only thing missing is Santa !! If you would be willing to be our Santa at our Christmas Fayre, we have the outfit. You must have a sense of humour, be able to HO HOHO and to meet and chat to all our children who enter the grotto individually under the supervision of a DBS Nursery Manager from 12noon till 3pm. CHRISTMAS FAYRE DONATIONS
We always welcome donations towards the Christmas Fayre. Please put all donations into small bags or boxes clearly marked ‘Christmas Fayre’ and leave them under the large table in the Oak Room Foyer.

DONATIONS OF BOXED CAKES, SWEETS, FOOD ITEMS OR ALCOHOL
Please could these be dropped off at the Parish Office until 25th November – Monday to Friday between 10am and 12noon only, or left outside the office door any other time up to 6pm in sealed boxes clearly marked ‘Donna’. (Please do not write on the boxes what is in them). During the weekends please pass your donations directly to the Church Wardens.
Could all donations of fresh cakes and mince pies please be delivered on Friday the 25th November from 12 noon or early on the fayre day - Saturday 26th November. Thank you.
EVERYDAY WITNESS, a journey of sharing faith. This new CofE course will run for 10 weeks with a break for half term and Ash Wednesday. Venue- Lady Chapel starting Wednesday 11th January 7pm - 8 30pm. Cost- approximately £5 for reflective journal. There are activities for large groupsinc. congregations, small groups and individual bible reading notes. We are all called and sent as witnesses of Jesus. “Everyday witness takes this as truth and then sets us on our way in living it” Archbishop Justin Welby. Please speak to Rev’d Alison or leave your details at the office.
