Compton Hospice Christmas Quiz – Number 30:      IT’S QUIZ TIME AGAIN!!!

Norman Schofield’s Annual Competition in aid of Compton Hospice. Please support the cause, and if you would, take a few copies for friends and colleagues.

Copies are available from Norman.

Friends of St Bart's and St Anne's: We now have packs of lovely Christmas cards available for you to purchase with all proceeds going towards the Friends of St Bart’s and St Anne’s who support our wonderful Choir and contribute directly to maintaining our magnificent Churches. The pack of 8 cards (2 copies of 4 different pictures) will cost £4. The packs can be obtained from Sue in the Parish Office 01902 576809, Revd Ben or Anne Edwards  (01902 337478). The cards are all festive photos from in and around St Bart’s and have been taken by a member of our congregation.

Police Community Support Officers: Over the next few months our local officers will be making appointments via the church office to meet all our hirers and church groups.

All groups will be notified of the date and time that the officers will be arriving to visit your group. This new initiative within PCSO is to get to know the local community better and support and address any issues that you may have. Next year we will be having an Open Day in the hall as a Community Support Day and will be advertised locally with PCSO.  Donna

St Bartholomew’s School Applications: Could parents please give us a brief history of their worship at St Bart’s, along with the Supplementary Information Form, so that we can accurately complete the form.  We check all of the applications carefully for accuracy.

Notice for magazine distributors: The December magazines and newsletters are now available for collection from church. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your hard work distributing the magazine over the years.         God bless, Sarah.

Our bi-monthly newsletter is now underway; we are looking for new and exciting ideas for content. If you have any suggestions for news articles, features, or general information you'd like to see included please email them over to magazine@stbarts.org.uk    The cut-off for our January edition is 9th December, but general ideas are welcome at any time.       Many thanks, Sarah.
