Electoral Roll – 2020 revision The church electoral roll is due to be revised during March and we want you to be on it. It’s not just a list of people who worship at St Barts & St Annes; it's a register of people who want to take an active part in the running of their church. So, before the AGM is held on April 26th, we want to give you all the chance to get onto the roll (if you’re not already), so you can take an active part in the discussions and decisions made about your church, with your money and on your behalf. Forms will be available from the 7th March either at the back or church, from the parish office or from Catherine Pugh the Electoral Roll officer. The roll will close on 31st March. Catherine Pugh Electoral Roll Officer
Dear friends,
Much has been said recently about coronavirus.
The Diocese have advised us that about the importance of maintaining good hygiene including, for example, priests and servers washing their hands and using alcohol-based hand-sanitiser before Holy Communion.
Parishioners with coughs and sneezes should certainly be encouraged to receive Communion in one kind only and to refrain from handshaking during The Peace.
For the time being we are abolishing the practice of ‘intinction’ – when the consecrated bread is dipped into the wine - as this could represents an infection transmission route.
God bless,
Preb. Ben
